THE UNIQUE PLANT, INC is a home-based business in the north side of Chapel Hill, just outside the city limits off Sunrise Rd. We offer hard-to-find or unusual trees, (including over 50 kinds of Japanese Maples), dwarf conifers, shrubs, perennials, and over 60 types of ornamental grasses. Plants offered are grown in containers varying from 4" pots to 25gal. Sales at present are limited to those at the nursery as we are not set-up for mail-order service. Most plants are hand-selected and grown in North Carolina, and are offered at affordable prices. We also have many native plants and are well-versed in plants that do well in the piedmont, are drought-tolerant, and which plants deer may browse. Discounts are given for large orders and to landscape contractors. If we don't have the plants that you need, we will find quality specimens for you.
